Gemsa Rapid Enamel (275)

Definition: Serial dried, rapid alkyd is a topcoat paint that dries very quickly. It is highly resistant to external factors, impacts and frictions due to its high-water resistance. It adheres very well to all kinds of surfaces, is elastic and has high chemical resistance.

Area of Application: Gemsa Rapid Top Floor Paint is a general-purpose topcoat paint and is used in all areas requiring rapid drying; in various industrial facilities, in all kinds of steel components such as construction machinery, agricultural tools, boiler, radiator, pipe and water tank, in painting electrical panels and accessories.

Application Tools: Pistole, Roller, Brush & Dip

Application Thinner: Gemsa rapid thinner, toluene, xylol, etc. solvents (that cannot get thinned with white sprite and gas)

Method of Application: If the application is to be made directly to the metal surface, all kinds of oil, dirt and rust on the surface (sanded, scraped, burned or washed with solvent) should be cleaned. Gemsa Rapid Primer is applied to the cleaned surface first. After sanding the primer, Gemsa Rapid Topcoat, which is thoroughly mixed and thinned by 20-25% with the appropriate thinner, is applied in two coats.

Notes: It should never be applied to freshly applied or under-resistant lined surfaces, synthetic painted and lined surfaces and dirty surfaces.

Drying Time:

Surface Drying:  10 minutes     Assembly Drying : 1-2 Hours

Full Drying:  12 hour – Hard Drying: 72 hours

Paintable Area:

10-11 m2 / kg (30 –microns dry film thickness)

12-13 m2 / lt (30-micron dry film thickness)

Storage Type and Duration: 1 year in a cool and dry environment not receiving direct sunlight, sealed packaging (+5°C to +30°C)

Notes: Temperature of the application surfaces should be above +5°C.
