Black Matte Wrought Iron Paint (279)

Definition: It is a quick-dry, rapid alkyd based, high-filling matte topcoat black paint. Since the water resistance is high, it protects the surface of the material it is applied against rust and its opacity and blackness are adjusted to provide maximum heat absorption.

Area of Application: Wrought iron paint has been developed for use on ferrous iron, aluminium, copper, galvanized surfaces and solar collectors.

Application Tools: Roller, Brush, Pistole

Application Thinner: Gemsa rapid thinner, toluene, xylol, etc. solvents (that cannot get thinned with white sprite and gas)

Method of Application: The surface should be cleaned from all kinds of oil, dirt and rust (sanded, scraped, burned or washed with solvent) before application. The thinning rate for Brush-Roll application should be 10-15% and 20-25% for Pistole application. It is applied to the cleaned surface in two coats, the waiting time between the coats should be 30 minutes; the temperature of the surfaces to be applied should be 10-30C.

Drying Time:

Surface Drying: 10 minutes     Assembly drying: 1-2 Hours.

Hard drying : 12 hours   Full drying : 72 hours

Paintable Area:

6-8 m2 / kg (40-microns dry film thickness)

10.8-14 m2 / lt (40-micron dry film thickness)

Storage Type and Duration: 1 year in a cool and dry environment not receiving direct sunlight, sealed packaging (+5°C to +30°C)

Hazard Warnings:

(R20/21/22) (Harmful by inhalation in contact with skin if swallowed.)

Notes: Temperature of the application surfaces should be above +5°C.
